Cut your mobile phone bill with new-look SmartTalk app

London, March 23 (IANS): If you have a landline phone, this app is just for you. Landline customers can make savings on their mobile phone bill with the new SmartTalk app.

Launched by British telecommunications giant BT Group, the SmartTalk app allows customers to save money on their mobile phone bill by linking their home calling plan to their smartphones.

The app is available for Android and Apple smartphones. One just needs to be connected to wi-fi or have a mobile data connection to utilise the app, BT.com reported.

BT has refreshed SmartTalk in response to user feedback. The updated app works in exactly the same way as the old one, but it's been optimised for iOS 7 and above for iPhones and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and higher.

The app is compatible with accessibility settings within Android and Apple smartphones, so it can be used by people with disabilities. SmartTalk can be downloaded free from BT website.
