Moodbidri, Mar 24: In an incident which occurred at Howdal in Padukonaje village near here on Sunday March 22 night, a youth, who was crossing the road after getting down from an auto rickshaw, lost his life after having been hit by a motor bike.
Sudheer (18), son of Ammi Poojary from Savya village in Beltangady taluk was the unfortunate victim. He was working for a bakery in the town. On Sunday night, he was going to the house of his aunt, when accident took away his life.
The local police have booked Prakash Poojary from Kotebagilu, who was riding the motor bike involved with this accident. Investigation is in progress.
