AI Express Indicates Tentative Schedule for Doha- Bharain-Mangalore Flight

Mangalore, Feb 18: The Doha - Bahrain- Mangalore flight is scheduled to deck the sky on March 25. While this is yet another blessing to the NRIs and Mangaloreans, Air India Express has already indicated the schedule for this flight.

The tentative schedule is out and the final is awaited.

Air India Chief Updates on Flights from other Gulf States

Mangalore, Feb 18: After two successful direct flights from the Gulf regions to Mangalore, there are many in the pipeline.

V Thulasidas, Chairman and Managing Director Air India who was in town hinted on this development. Thulasidas, who paid a personal visit along with his wife to Kollor spoke to Rajesh Sequeira, coordinator of Karnataka NRI Forum.

 

After discussion several issues on future flight to Kuwait and Dammam, Thulasidas assured that he would consider and do the needful towards the same.

He also requested that Mangaloreans and the agents’ fraternity to extend full support to Air India Express in its endevour to offer complete linage from Mangalore.

 

Speaking to Daijiworld he informed that the frequency of the Dubai - Mangalore flight will be increased from three to five flights a week from the first week of March, based on the demand.

Although the Abu Dhabi-Muscat flight has to pick up pace, it awaits to be utilized completely, he opined adding that since Bahrain - Doha flight will begin operation from March 25, passengers from Dammam can utilize Bahrain as they can travel by road to Dammam.

Expressing appreciation to the support extended from Air India staff from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat and Mangalore, Rajesh made a special Mention of R M Rao and Alva and their team in Mangalore who had taken lots of pains during the initial stages.
 
Kini, a well known advocate form Mumbai and V H N Bhat handling agents for Air India Express were also present at the meeting.

As already reported earlier, the Doha- Bahrain- Mangalore flight will commence on March 25.
