Mangalore, Feb 21: Karnataka Bank Limited, one of the country’s leading private sector banks has launched a distinct Savings Bank Account product under the name “S.B.-Soulabhya” for the premium segment of banking populace. Holders of “SB-Soulabhya” account will have various privileges and can avail a host of services and facilities – free of service charges. The Bank, being in the forefront to bring its entire operation under core banking solution, has been introducing more and more technology-driven products to meet the ever increasing needs of its varied customers.

The new scheme provides facilities like access to Bank’s ATMs free of charge, anywhere cash withdrawals, anywhere cash deposit, Debit Card facility,  Internet Banking facility, Mobile banking (SMS alerts only), demat account, cheque collection facility, Multi-city cheque facility etc., subject to certain terms and conditions.

The Bank which is tech-savvy with 405 branches is shortly going to open branches at Siliguri, Kanpur, Jodhpur and Agra as part of its plan to increase the number of branches to 415 by the end of the current fiscal year.
