Mangalore, Feb 22: Santhathi, centre for reproductive medicine, has achieved the rare milestone of recording more than 1055 pregnancies from various treatments.

A press release stated that the milestone was a result of treatment modalities such as simple counseling, medical and surgical treatments and test tube baby methods like IVF, ICSI, Egg Sharing, Embryo Sharing etc.

Another achievement of the centre is that out of the recorded pregnancies, there has not been a single triplet pregnancy which is known to carry risks to both mother and child. The number of twin pregnancies has been one in fifty, which is natural in human beings, the release stated.

The centre holds free group counseling sessions every week in Kannada, English, Tulu and Malayalam to discuss and deal with various aspects and problems regarding reproduction.
