But the duo are unfazed, and the two are back in Mumbai. According to a report, Virat and Anushka stepped out of the Mumbai Airport hand-in-hand. The paparazzi swamped the couple but they held on to each other and drove away in a cab.
Virat came under attack when he was dismissed after scoring just one run in the ICC CWC semifinal against Australia. Things became bizarre when Anushka, who had gone to cheer for the team, was slammed for being in Australia.
The Bollywood fraternity took to the micro-blogging to extend its support to the actress and dismiss the allegations by fanatics.
