Kundapur, Feb 22: Lokayukta police led by inspector Prasanna Raju raided special tahsildar's office at Byndoor near here and arrested two corrupt officials red-handed while receiving bribe on Thursday February 22 evening.

Surveyor Udaya and supervisor M M Nagaraj were caught by lokayukta police while receiving Rs 2,000 from a person who had been trying to get his land surveyed. 

One Rajendra Shettigar of Byndoor had filed a complaint with lokayukta police after both the officials at tahsildar's office e demanded bribe from him to survey his land.  Both Udaya and M M Nagaraj had earlier made Rajendra to run from pillar to post in this regard.  Finally they agreed to survey the land if they are paid bribe.

Accordingly Rajendra agreed for their proposal.  Meanwhile he kept lokayukta officials informed about the same.  So both were caught red-handed while receiving bribe in the office.
