Bantwal. Mar 30: A special way of cross on Palm Sunday was held at the shrine of St.Joseph Vaz miraculous hill on Sunday, Mar 29.
The way of the cross began at the church of St.Joseph Vaz and then reached the hill.
The devotion of way of the cross was conducted by Fr Joel Lopez, Fr Prashanth Noronha and Deacon Salvadore D’Cunha.
Fr Gregory D’Souza offered the prayer service before the way of the cross and then expressed his gratitude through vote of thanks.
Roshan D’Souza, the vice president and Leo D’Souza, the secretary along with parish council members shouldered the responsibilities of this pious devotion.
The theme for the devotion was renewal of spirituality under the shadow of the cross.
After the way of the cross, there was adoration of the Blessed Sacrament conducted by Deacon Salvadore D’Cunha.
There was a big crowd of devotees all through the spiritual service.
