Mangaluru, Apr 1: Venizia Annie Carlo of Carlos Gym has won two gold medals in equipped and unequipped sub junior national benchpress powerlifting championships and one bronze medal in senior benchpress championships 2015 held at Jemshedpur in Jarkhand state on 5, 6 7 March organised by Jarkhand State Indian Powerlifting federation.Venizia also won best lifter award in sub junior national bench press event. Venizia is a 9th standard student of St Agnes high school.

Vincent Prakash Carlo of Carlos' Gym and Balanjaneya Gym won two silver medals in equipped and unequipped Senior Benchpress and one silver medal in Master 1 class National BenchPress championships and Uday Kumar of Carlos Gym won Silver medal in Masters 1 National Benchpress powerlifting championships at the same venue.

Vincent is the father of Venizia.

Karnataka Powerlifting Association situated in Kudroli, Mangaluru is affiliated to Indian Powerlifting Federation, Jamshedpur and Recognized by the department of Youth Services and Sports, Government of Karnataka.
