Honda Motorcycle logs 20 percent growth


Chennai, April 1 (IANS): Two-wheeler-maker Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India on Wednesday said it logged 20 percent sales growth during 2014-15.

In a statement, the company said it sold 4,452,010 units during the last fiscal -- up from 3,721,942 units sold during the corresponding period of the previous year.

According to Honda Motorcycle, the company logged 20 percent growth last fiscal at a time when the overall industry's growth was eight percent.

The company said the tentative sales figures for the industry last fiscal will be 18,508,258 units as against 16,935,366 units logged during the previous fiscal.
