Drunk soldier harasses woman in train, held


Bhopal, April 1 (IANS): A soldier was arrested for harassing a woman in a moving train in Madhya Pradesh, an official said on Wednesday.

The incident occurred late on Tuesday night in the Rajdhani Express train heading to Delhi from Bilaspur when a soldier, identified as Kamlesh Prasad, attempted to molest a woman who then informed the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway's Special Police Commissioner Maithli Sharan Gupt told mediapersons.

Prasad was drunk when arrested at Bhopal railway station, the official said.

The official also said that it was due to the woman's alertness, who used the helpline to inform the GRP, that the accused could be arrested.
