Udupi, Apr 2: A goods carrier auto driver sustained minor injuries in an accident which took place on NH 66 near Nittur junction between a car and auto in front of Abharan Motors on Thursday, April 2.
The car was travelling from Bhatkal to Udupi and the waste carrier auto suddenly took turn on National Highyway at Nittur adkadakatte junction without any signal.The car has been partly damaged.
The car driver said that they were on their way to SDM hospital, Udyavar for treatment.
Some hoardings at the the entrance arch are disturbing the traffic, it is gathered. The unwanted hoardings, banners should be removed soon after the programmes, complain residents. They say because of the banners and hoardings at Nittur, the drivers of vehicles cannot follow the road rules.
