Three SBI employees killed in Mizoram accident


Aizawl, April 2 (IANS): Three employees of State Bank of India (SBI) were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Mizoram on Thursday, police said.

The five SBI employees were returning to their branch at Saitual from Aizawl, when their vehicle collided with a tree in Kai Thung area, 75 km from Aizawl.

Three of them died on the spot, a police official said.

Among the deceased was Saitual branch manager Arijit Sohbal who hailed from West Bengal. The other employees were residents of Mizoram.

The injured were admitted to a nearby government hospital.
