Mangalore, Feb 27: An orientation programme on Youth Parliament was organised by Mangalore University Political Science Teachers’ Association (MUPSTA) at St Agnes College here on Monday February 26.

Speaking on the occasion MLA N Yogish Bhat explained the various procedures involved in a parliamentary session and said that there was wrong notion about politics among the public.

He also called for a better interaction between members of the public and elected representatives.

The students of St Agnes College took part in a mock parliament session.

Among those present were college vice-principal Prem D’Souza, MUPSTA president Parvati A A, secretary Chandranatha M and vice-president Nancy D’Souza.
