Kundapur, Feb 28: A convocation ceremony was held in Beary’s School at Kodi for the UKG children. The function began with a procession of kids, which won a standing ovation from the August assembly.

Speaking on the occasion the manager Sanab-Syed Mohammed Beary said that children have the potential of becoming persons of international repute. The responsibility lies on the shoulder of the teachers to bring out what was best in them.

The president Janab Haji Mohammed also spoke. He said children are national assets. Dr G H Prabhakar, director of administrate council said that children’s programmes were effective in instilling mental strength among the students.

The principal Flavia Rebello also spoke on the occasion. On the occasion certificates of merit were distributed to the children.

Jennifer Lewis, teacher, gave the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by student Akash of fourth standard.

The convocation came to an end with a variety of entertainments and other cultural activities.
