Udupi, Feb 28: Riyaz Ahmed, a resident of Uchchila, was knocked down to death after the motor cycle on which he was riding, was hit by a tempo on Tuesday February 27. The accident occured near Pangala bridge, Uliyaragoli village, NH 17. A case has been registered by Kaup police against the tempo driver and investigation is on.
In another incident, Manoj Shetty a motor bike rider died on the spot when hit by a bus at Nellikatte Cross, Nadpal Village, Malpe - Shimoga state highway, on Tuesday Febraury 27. A case has been registered against bus driver Mruthunjaya.
