Puttur, Mar 1: The much-discussed murder case of Akshata of Tharigudde here now seems to have taken the usual route just like many other cases of the past.  Sattar, the prime accused in the case has now been granted bail by district court.  With this hopes of Akshata's family of getting justice are now fading away.  Despite all enquiries, witnesses and even narco analysis test proving that Sattar had murdered Akshata, he has now managed to get bail.

Those organizations which shot to public fame by taking lead in the protests that followed Akshata's murder are either dormant or not interested now in the case.    All protests, bundhs etc have finally yielded nothing.  On the other hand it is not yet sure whether Sattar was arrested or else he himself had surrendered.  This effectively means that none of the organizations can claim the credit for nabbing Sattar.

As reported earlier, Sattar was in love with Akshata for a long period.  But once their love story came to light, Akshata was warned by her community leaders.  This had led her to keep Sattar away and break their relationship.  But Sattar had not been able to come out of the relationship.  He was even ready to become Hindu in order to marry Akshata.  But when Akshata stood firm in her decision, he killed her and threw her body near yatimkhana here.  Her body was recovered after 3 days while Sattar was nabbed only after a couple of months.
