Jammu & Kashmir: Three policemen shot dead in Shopian

Srinagar, Apr 6 (PTI): Militants today shot dead three unarmed policemen, who had gone for investigating a crime in a village in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Three policemen -- one head constable and two constables -- were killed in a militant attack at Ashipora in Shopian district," a police officer said.

He said the slain policemen were unarmed and had gone to the village for investigating a crime when militants opened fire on them.

This is second militant attack on policemen within hours in Kashmir Valley.Earlier in the day, ultras shot at and critically injured a police officer in Pattan area of Baramulla district.

Sub Inspector Ghulam Mustafa was shot at and injured by two pistol-borne militants in a bus which was on its way to Pattan, a police official said.

The driver of the bus drove the bus to a local police post where the cops shifted their injured colleague to hospital, he said.

@Sashi, Feku & his supporters keep on telling this since last one year. But the truth is, Modi is a spineless PM and he is good for nothing. He will make time pass for another four years and will be back to Gujarat thereafter. He already realized governance is not so easy, as he was barking when out of power.

Good , let this Mufit saeed, thank Pakistan again, for killing his policemen like gulam mustafas!! Most of the Kashmiri police are haramis, who know the hideout of millitants very well and kept quiet during congress raj!.. now they are paying the price!... Army is also fed up with their gut baazi!... half ot these DSP/SPs, in the valley as if they are Kings of Saudi! their shoes should be polished, made to be worn by one assistant, no respect for indian flag, daily torture to traders in dal lake and lal chowk and surrorundings areas, irritating tourists, using constables as house maids, going to play golf during office hours! dalaals of politicians!...

I am more concerned with our Jawans from rest of the country who slog their butt, in kashmir borders and also BSF people! .. ye police toh ek number ke chamche hain! modi should sit quiet and let mufti handle the show!

I still remember the speech given by Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, who is now minister for Information & broadcasting, at Jammu before Lok Sabha Election.

He told 'Let PAK dare to touch India after we (NDA) come to power. We will destroy them'

He was a boxer... & that Mini FEKU must have thought, politics is like boxing ring & we can easily deal with neighboring countries.

Then he was just a member of BJP & now minister. Let him show his power, guts now.
