Mangalore, Mar 3: Sandesha Lalitkala Mahavidyalaya in association with St Mary's College Shirva has organized a week-long state-level workshop on Odissi dance from Sunday March 4 to Saturday March 10.
The workshop has been sponsored by financial commission of the Varsity. Noted Odissi dancer and student of Padmavibhushan Kelucharana Mahapatra Devi will be the director of the workshop.
The inauguration of the workshop will be held in Sandesha on March 4 evening. Former governor of Lions Club Kripa Amar Alva will be the chief guest while Karnataka Kala Tilaka Ullal Mohan Kumar will be the special invitee.
The valedictory of the workshop will be held on Saturday March 10 evening which will be graced by Prof Pattabhirama Somayaji as the chief guest.
