Mangalore, Mar 4: The District Crime Investigation Bureau recently raided two shops selling mobile phones in Saibeen complex here.

During the raid conducted based on credible information by the DCIB staff, computers and other peripherals which were being used for downloading and transferring the T-Series Company movie songs to mobile phones without any permission from the company were seized.

The owners of the shop Lathif alias Abdul Lathif (38) resident of Fidha Towers Mangalore and Abubakkar (48) resident of Posottu Manjeshwar Kerala state were arrested by the police in this connection.

A case has been registered in Barke Police Station under the Copyright Act. Total worth of materials seized is Rs 65,000.
