Moodbidri, Mar 4: Several reports of burglaries in various parts of DK district have been pouring in. The recent theft in a temple in the Police Lane has put the police on their toes.

Yet another case of burglary has been registered in Moodabidri Police Station. According to police sources, the house belonging to one Shivananda Kamath (42) resident of Kittabettu Eruvailu village Mangalore Taluk was burgled.

The thieves broke open the back door stole gold ornaments worth Rs 1, 05 lac.

Thieves burgled the house of Purushothama (30) resident of Karenki Badgayedapadvu village here and stole gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 24,500.

The third theft case reported has been from Sullia where the thieves gained entry into a room in Sangam Building Sri Ram Pete Sullia and stole cash Rs 10,000. The room was owned by Manjegowda L P (30) resident of Chennarayapatna Hassan district.
