Mumbai, Mar 5: The Karnataka Tulunad Sangha (R) Sangli - Miraj organized the 19th annual Tulu Utsav on Saturday March 3 at Miraj, Sangli near here.
Rashtriya Billava Mahamandala (R) president and Bharat Bank working president Jaya C Suvarna who was present as chief guest, inaugurated the function. St Aloysius College lecturer and member of Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy Mangalore, Dr Ganesh Amin Sankamar, presided over.
Jaisinghpur hotel entrepreneur Ganapayya Shetty and Vanaja Shetty, Khar Congress (I) vice – president Shankar Suvarna, Billawara Association vice – president Y Nagesh and journalist Rons Bantwal, were present as guests of honour.
The members staged ‘Korida Katta’, a Tulu play and Bharatanatyam on the occasion.
