Karkala, Mar 5: Anti-Naxal Force has intensified combing operations in the dense forest area near Madamakki near Hebri here on Sunday March 4.
The combing operations were intensified after locals reported about spotting Naxals in the region. There have also been reports that Naxals have set-up secret hide-out in the area. Sources claimed that ANF men led by Subhash Gudimani and assistant commandant Ramchandra Nayak have invaded deep into the forests area at Hakkurke, Arasinamane, Kasanmakki and surrounding areas.
So far there have been no traces about the Naxal hide-out. But the police personnel have kept a close vigil to track down the movements of Naxalites.
