Udupi, Mar 5: Foundation stone for the open air stage to be donated by Kunjur Sports Club to Shri Durgadevi higher primary school Paniyoor was laid on Sunday March 4.

Shri Durgadevi higher primary school is celebrating its 100 years of establishment this year.  The members of Kunjur Sports Club are rendering their voluntary service to build the stage.

Yellur GP panchayat president Yashwanth Shetty, Belapu GP president Deviprasad Shetty, ex-taluk panchayat member A K Sulaiman, Yellur GP member Rahim Kunjur, school headmaster H M Raviraj Rao, ex-headmaster Eshwar Rao and Kunjur Sports Club president Rakesh Kunjur were present on the occasion.
