Bangalore, Mar 6: Middle East Association organized "Orphans' Day – a day with Orphans" on Sunday March 4 at St Mary's Orphanage, Cooke Town. This is an annual programme conducted in the season of lent.

The programme started with Holy mass offered by Fr John Anthony, the director of the Orphanage, followed by entertainment to 200 under-privileged boys right from the age group of 4. President Jessie Rodrigues delivered welcome address.

 This was followed by fun-loving games for the children who enjoyed to the maximum. Sing-a-song session for the children was organized by Richard D'Souza who took the boys to a different world altogether singing Kannada and English songs.

It was amazing to see how good these boys were in singing exhibiting their talents under the care able guidance of Fr John Anthony. It was a wonderful experience to all the members of MEA.

Prizes were awarded to the winners. Programme concluded with vote of thanks by the vice-president S D Kini followed by a family agape.
