Kundapur, Mar 8: The Bangalore CCB police have arrested one person in connection with double murder case of Bangalore here on Monday March 5 night.
The arrested has been identified as Kishor. He was owning apparel and tailoring shop. He is said to have been the close associate of underworld don Ravi Poojary. The latter is the prime accused in the murder of Ravi and Shailaja, two staff of Shabnam Developers of Bangalore.
These were shot dead by unidentified men recently outside their office. The CCB police team led by Vinay Gaonkar had earlier arrested a few including two a Gram Panchayat members along with Yogish and notorious Puneet Kalmady. While Yogish and Puneet are still in police custody, Belapu gram panchayat member Nirajnan Shetty and Nityanand Shetty, owner of Mayur Bar and Restaurant at Kaup were released after interrogation.
Kishor is said to have been involved in several criminal activities in Bangalore and it was only a few months ago that he had opened the present business on Bhandarkars College Road here.
