Mangalore, Mar 8: The new building of M V Shetty College of Speech and Hearing was inaugurated at Maladi Court, near Panjimogaru here recently by minister for higher education D H Shankaramurthy.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister appreciated the efforts of Dr M Ramgopal Shetty in providing the necessary state-of-the-art college equipment to treat differently-abled challenged people. He said that the initiative taken by the college was worth emulating by others.
Mangalore University vice-chancellor Dr K M Kaveriappa inaugurating the audiology laboratory assured that the University will extent all help to the college in conducting its academic programmes and research activities.
Suratkal MLA Krishna Palemar inaugurated the conference hall of the college. A large gathering of distinguished educationists, faculty, students and public was present.
