Mangalore, Mar 8: Father Muller Medical College Hospital observed World Kidney Day at the Hospital’s Silver Jubilee Hall here on Thursday March 8.
The programme revolved around the theme ‘Act Now, Avoid Dialysis Later.’
A free check-up camp was organised on the occasion to screen early signs of kidney diseases. The purpose is to create awareness about the importance of kidneys and to spread the message that kidney disease is common, harmful and treatable.
