Mangalore, Mar 9: B V Seetharam and his wife Rohini of 'Karavali Ale' who had been arrested a few days ago on charges of making derogatory comments against Jain Munis was released on conditional bail only to be take to custody by Sagar police on similar charges on Thursday March 8.

The Sagar police arrested B V Seetharam and his wife Rohini were for publishing derogatory write-ups about the Jain religious leaders and the nudity they practice in "Kannada Janantaranga", a sister publication of Karavali Ale published in Uttara Kannada.  One Rajkumar C Nayak had filed a case in Sagar JMFC court in this regard.

Earlier both B V See and Rohini managed to get conditional bail with regard to similar case filed in the Panamboor police station by Rajavarma Ballal.  As reported both were arrested by the police on Saturday March 3 night.

But as soon as they came out from the jail after 6 pm on Thursday, Sagar police who had come with warrant arrested them and took them to Sagar on their jeep.  Sources said that they are likely to be produced in the court on Friday March 9.
