Experts to conduct awareness camps for Bengal masons


Kolkata, April 17 (IANS): Construction experts will conduct a series of workshops for masons in West Bengal on enhancing their productivity by using latest techniques.

A fleet of vans has set out from Kolkata and will visit 13 districts, reaching out to 7,200 masons as part of the 'Van Campaign'.

"This mason awareness campaign in Kolkata is part of a larger national campaign where 51 vans will be visiting 11 states, reaching out to over 60,000 masons," Ambuja Cement official Abhijit Ghosh said in a statement.

"Through these campaigns, construction experts will conduct a series of mason awareness workshops aimed at training masons about high level productivity," he said.

These unique campaigns will assist in awareness-building through interactive sessions, serve as an interactive platform for masons to clear their doubts and gain significant expertise about various masonry techniques," he added.
