Mangalore, Mar 10: The 127 annual day of St Aloysius College here was held on Friday March 9 evening.
Prof Kaveriappa, vice-chancellor of Mangalore University was the chief guest on the occasion. College principal Fr Eugene Lobo, vice-principal Eric Patrao were also present on the dais.
Prof Brinda Kaveriappa, professor of English was the guest of honour while Rector Fr Francis Serrao presided over function.
Principal Fr Eugene was honoured on the occasion and was presented with 'Mysore Petha.' It is his final year as the principal of this premier educational institution.
Cultural programmes were the hallmark of the evening which kept the modest gathering glued to their chair.
Kapila, a drama written and directed by Dr Naa Daa Shetty and 'Thiruvathira' a traditional dance of Kerala added flavour to the colourful evening.
