Ujire, Mar 11: Six persons were injured when a van rammed into a tree here on Saturday

A Maruthi van which was plying from Mangalore to Kajoru Padeguttu rammed into a tree on the roadside. Three persons in the vehicle are seriously injured.

Tahira delivered a girl child and as the child was ill the local doctor had advised the family to take it for treatment to Mangalore. Thus few members of the family and relatives hired a vehicle and had come to Mangalore. Once the treatment was over the family returned home.

The driver who lost control of the vehicle and it rammed into a road-side tree. Abu Salim (65), Saramma (58), Aishamma (45), driver Naseer (23), Aziz (26) Tahira (22) the mother have been admitted to a private hospital in Beltangady.

After receiving first aid, the seriously injured Tahira, Naseer and Abu Salim have been shifted a hospital in Mangalore.
