Kasargod: Accused wanted in multiple cases arrested

Kasargod, Apr 19: an accused wanted in multiple cases, including that of murder and attempt of murder, has been arrested by the Kasargod police led by DySP Ranjith.

Hamid (21) alias Ammi from Kukkaru Uppal, is the person arrested. Hamid is believed to be wanted in more than 14 cases including two murder cases.

Two months back Hamid had shown revolver to police and public and had fled in a car at Bekur near Uppal. In another incident also he had run away at Kannatipara when the public tried to catch him.

In the recent incident police apprehended him in an unknown place in Karnataka. They had laid a trap for him after getting information from a credible source.
