The painting exhibition will be inaugurated by U K Kumarnath, resident editor of Vijaya Karnataka Mangalore edition. N S Pattar, an art teacher of Mahalasa Art School will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Dinesh Devadiga who hails from Pavanje near Haleangady near here has been greatly inspired by great artiste Ravi Varma. He also says that he drawn great inspiration from picturesque nature of his native place as well as from places where he has lived.
However, his growth as an artiste has not been easy and smooth. Initially owing to lack of support and guidance, his talent remained latent. He later went to Bangalore in search of a job but his love for art brought him back to his native. His hold on oil paintings and acrylic medium is praiseworthy which would all be displayed for the entire week at Prasad Art Gallery beginning from Wednesday March 14.
