Hot Tuesday in Delhi


New Delhi, April 21 (IANS): It was a warm Tuesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 25.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.

The Met office has forecast a hot day ahead.

"Tuesday will be hot and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 65 percent.

Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at 39.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average.
