Mangalore, Mar 13: ‘Karavali Rangotsava’ organized by Karnataka Nataka Academy was inaugurated here on Monday.

‘Bannada Badukina Chinnada Dinagalu, a book on theatrical experiences of theatre personality Enagi Baappa authored by journalist Ganesh Aminagad was released on the occasion.

Speaking after inaugurating the programme Mayor, Mangalore City Corporation Vijaya Arun said that sponsorship promotes art and dearth of financial assistance leads to its death.

Karnataka Nataka Academy president Srinivas G Kappanna said that the artistes of the coastal belt have excellent skill and carry high self-dignity wherever they go.

President of Karnataka State Konkani Sahitya Academy Eric Ozario was also present on the stage.
