Moodbidri, Mar 13: A student studying ayurveda sciences in one of the prestigious colleges here ended his life on Monday March 12.
The student has been identified as Sujith Sulochan (23). He was studying BAMS in a college here and was staying in the quarters of veterinary department. He was staying in the room along with his classmate Arun Suraj.
Sujith was the son of D Sulochan of Harippad in Kerala. His father is an employee of Sikkim bank. College sources said that he was a studious student and was preparing for his theory exams.
On Monday evening he hung himself from the roof of the room when Arun Suraj was not there in the room. It was only after latter's coming that suicide came to light. In a suicide note Sujith has written that he alone is responsible for his death.
The Moodbidri police are investigating case.
