Mangalore, Mar 14: B V Seetharam of Karavali Ale and his wife Rohini who is also the head of the Chitra Publications were finally released on bail by Sagar court in Shimoga on Tuesday March 13. With this 10 days ordeal of senior journalist and his wife has come to an end to certain extent.  The couple however has said to have left to an undisclosed destination to complete formalities of their release.

The couple was not produced in the court owing to ill-health.  They were being treated in McGann Hospital at Shimoga.  As reported earlier they were picked up by Sagar police outside the sub-jail here a few days ago with regard to a case filed on them by one Rajkumar C Nayak for publishing derogatory articles about Jain Muni Tarun Sagar in Karavali Ale and Kannada Jana Antaranga. 

Meanwhile Rohini has faxed a complaint to National Human Right Commission and State Women's Commission whether there is any provision in the law wherein a mother of two children and a housewife could be arrested in the midnight.
