Nepal's earthquake has killed 2,123 people: police


Kathmandu, April 26 (IANS): Police in Nepal said on Sunday that the powerful earthquake which shook the country has left 2,123 people dead.

Another 4,627 people were injured in varying degrees, a police official told the media here.

A 7.9 magnitude quake shook Nepal on Saturday.
