Shahnaz Husain group plans to set up joint ventures


New Delhi, April 26 (IANS): Ayurvedic and herbal beauty care specialists, the Shahnaz Husain Group said on Sunday that it plans to set up joint ventures with international business houses and multinationals to expand its presence in new markets across the globe.

The company, exporting herbal products to 66 countries, operates the largest chain of franchise ventures in India and abroad, a statement said.

"We are focusing to increase our base in EU (European Union), CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States, of former Soviet Union) countries and also targeting African countries," said company chairperson Shahnaz Husain.

"The company has set up targets to increase the exports base five to seven times of the current level of annual exports at present, by developing latest innovations and appointing distributors in new markets," she added.
