Mangalore, Mar 17: Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists Association bade farewell to 3 senior journalists on Friday March 16.
In a formal function held here Prakash of Vartha Bharathi Kannada daily, Sandeep Nayak of Udayavani and Nandagopal of Times of India who have been transferred to other places were given farewell.
In his introductory remarks Chidambara Baikampady said that the association would be grateful to these journos who had contributed their best to their profession. He wished them all that is best.
Speaking on the occasion, the journalists thanked the association and all the members for the support and encouragement given to them during their stay in the city. They also said that they would carry on with their good work.
Association president Raveendra Shetty and secretary Ramakrishna were also present on the occasion.
