Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (AF)

Mangalore, Mar 17: ‘Anveeksha-2007’ a national-level paper presentation competition on ‘Futuristic Technologies in the Field of Computer Science’ at St Aloysius College here came to an end on Friday March 16. The event was organised by the MCA students’ association of the college.

Speaking on the occasion McGill University, Canada senior research associate Dr Ramachandra Rao appreciated the efforts of the students and staff in organising the event and advised the students to make use of their knowledge to take the country forward.

The winners of the competition were PSG Technical College, Coimbatore in ‘Emerging Technology’ and ‘Soft Computing’ sections and NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore in the category titled ‘Network Security.’

St Aloysius Institute of Computer Sciences director Fr Denzil Lobo was present.
