Mangalore, Mar 17: A two-day Salafi conference was inaugurated at Salafi Nagar at Derlakatte near here on Saturday March 17 morning.
The conference began with the conference of women during which Amina Anwaria delivered a lecture on '"Equal Rights to Women in Islam."
After namaz and lunch in the afternoon a conference of Muslim thinkers was held. Mayan Kutti Methar, senior advocate of Kerala High Court delivered a lecture on the occasion.
During the youth conference which was held after thinkers' conference Maulvi C P Saleem, Salettur Abubakkar Faizi and Abdul Mazeed Nadvi delivered lectures on various topics.
