Rons Bantwal for Daijiworld Media Network – Mumbai (SS)

Mumbai, Mar 19: The annual general meeting of Federation of Maharashtra’s Canara Catholic Association (FOMCCA) was held in St Lawrence Club Association of Karkal hall at Dhobitalao here on Sunday March 18.

Office-bearers for the next three years were elected on the occasion.  

Federation president Norbert L Fernandes presided over the meet. Former police commissioner and of the advisors of the federation Rony Mendonca who was present as the chief guest, expressed satisfaction over the activities of the federation. 

Rocky Menezes who is the administrative member was appointed as animator and founder member Nelson Mascarenhas was appointed in his place.

The present office-bearers were unanimously elected to continue their posts. ‘Kutam’ Konkani weekly editor Henry D’Paula was appointed as additional advisor.

Joint secretary Edwin Menezes Loretto, treasurer Wilfred Barboza, administrative committee members Lloyd Quadros, Robert D’Souza, Stany Andrade, Nelson D’Souza, Gratian Pais and members of many other associations were present.

Federation coordinator Rons Bantwal welcomed.  Secretary Austin D’Souza read the report. Advisors Maurice Pinto, George D’Souza were present on the dais. Harry S Sequeira gave the vote of thanks.
