Sunny Friday in Delhi


New Delhi, May 1 (IANS): It was a bright sunny morning in the national capital on Friday with the minimum temperature recorded at 24.2 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.

The Met office has forecast a clear day ahead and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 38 degrees Celsius.

"The day is likely to be clear. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 38 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 49 percent.

Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded at 39.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius, both a notch above the season's average.
