DUBAI, Mar 20: Traffic on Dubai’s busy Shaikh Zayed Road has thrown out of gear due to a major fire erupted in an under-construction high-rise building on Tuesday morning. Fire fighters and police have rushed to the scene and fighting the blaze.

 

According to some eye witnesses the fire started at around 6.30 a.m. and  the building on fire is located opposite Emirates Towers. There were no casualties reported.

 
 

Dubai police closed roads leading to Shaikh Zayed Road because of the fire, leading to large tailbacks on the main arterial roads across the city.
