Kundapur, Mar 20: The Navodaya Grama Vikas Charitable Trust[R] Mangalore will organize Navakundotsava 2007 at Gandhi Maidan here from Friday April 6 to May 15.

Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday March 20 SCDCC Bank chairman and managing trusty of Navodaya Charitable Trust M N Rajendra Kumar said that the forty days' programme has been organized to support the Self Help Group (SHG) members to sell their home products.  Various entertainment and cultural programmes too will be held during the Navakundotsava, he added.

Exhibition of self help groups products too will be held during this time.  Navakundotsva will provide a platform for the students of various schools to explore and present the cultural programmes in their creative ways.

The main gate of exhibition has been constructed like the traditional tiled houses of yesteryears and has been named as “Dodda Manne Hebbagilu” to attract the citizens.

President of committee a Balakrishna Shetty, Appanna Hegde, Manjayya Shetty, Jagannatha Shetty, Buddaraj Shetty were also present at the press conference.
