Mangalore, Mar 21 (Wednesday, 9-30 am IST): The SSLC examinations for students of STD X have begun on Wednesday. With mounting pressure on the students as they face the board examinations, anxious parents too accompanied them on this major milestone in their academic career.

On Wednesday, the students were put to test as they faced the first exam in various examination centres in the city.

Students seen doing individual and group study and last-moment preparations made a common sight at every centre.
