Clear Tuesday in Delhi


New Delhi, May 5 (IANS): It was a sunny Tuesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 21.3 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.

The Met office has forecast a clear day ahead.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.

"The sky is likely to remain clear and the day would be warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 46 percent.

Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at 39.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 22 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
