LearnSocial platform to aid teaching, learning from anywhere

Hyderabad, May 5 (IANS): LearnSocial, an e-learning portal with instructor-led live online courses, is transforming into a social learning platform on which anyone can teach or learn anything from any location.

The company said this will revolutionise India's e-learning ecosystem. The robust technology platform of Hyderabad-based firm helps instructors to go live in minutes on any subject they prefer. Simultaneously, learners can also access courses from any location.

Raju Vanapala, founder and CEO, LearnSocial.com, said that they were on a mission to create the largest destination for online courses into various categories like business, IT, personality development, photography, fitness, music, academics and language.

"Since its launch in June, 2014, LearnSocial has attracted nearly 200,000 registered users on the site. We plan to on board over 10,000 instructors in various domains with about 30,000 courses into various categories by the end of 2015," Raju added.

With this platform, instructors are no more local. They can teach anyone globally and increase their earning potential.

Instructors can offer two modules of learning to the learners on this platform. Under instructor-led module, instructors choose a specific day, time and a set duration. Learners can take these courses from anywhere and can engage with the instructor by asking questions online, be part of discussion forums, share files, view presentations and much more.

Under a self-paced model, instructors from across the globe upload high quality videos of their courses so that learners can access these courses at their own pace and time.
